Energy Symbols?

Is it just me, or are the Energy symbols in HGSS just weird? I prefer the DPt ones better...

yeah they're slightly changed, but i like change. change makes things more interesting

Change always happens, whether you like it or not, theres really nothing you can do. I really haven't noticed any change in the symbols, but the style of the card in terms of the BG is really cool.
 
I didn't like them either when I first saw the scans. But once I actually got the cards in real life they actually looked pretty cool. As long as it doesn't put HUGE impact on something I say change is fine, and I guess you should just get used to it.... Or you might find it cooler than you thought the change would be. lol.

Anyways, I didn't like the change but now I do. Hopefully you will to. ;P

Yea, I think I got that when the next post on the thread told me...

But I never noticed a change. Looks normal to me but I haven't actually held or seen any of the new cards in person.
 
I really hate the change because they look a lot like the counterfeits coming out of Hong Kong. I'm afraid we've lost the easiest warning sign.
 
THERE WE GO. Amisheskimoninja knows what I mean. Those Energy symbols look fake on those Vietnamese, Phillipines cards, and it upsets me...X|
 
The first thing I always tell parents that come at league with kids with fakes is to look for the huge energy symbols.

Yeah, I know. I don't like how those cool-looking swoosh symbols where the Weakness and Resistance are had to go too...X|
 
I've heard a lot of people say thats whats weird about them is the energy symbols are bigger, I didn't notice though
 
Are you seriously saying that people actually make fake energies? Whats the pay off for that? I mean for something rare like a Luxray GL Lv.X I could understand a counterfeit, but energies?
 
LAWL LORDY JONES way to spam. I don't like the energy, because they look just like the ones on some fake cards I accidentally bought at my state fair.
 
No. On Pokemon cards, you can tell real ones from fake ones by the Energy symbols near attacks, HP, etc. I don't have an image, but maybe dmaster could help us out here?

Umm, for some reason I can't find a fake card pic that's of a recent card...I remember there was a thread that had a link to a lot of them though. Fake cards usually have different text, a different colored back, and bigger Energy symbols.
