I remember someone telling me that you can only attach 5 energies on a pokemon. Is this true?

Also, is the new pluspower rule (It does not relate with the text on the card), where you have to discard it after usage, is applied? If not, when will it be?

You can have as many Energy attached to a Pokemon as you can get attached to it. There is no set limit.

Re PlusPower, if there are any new rulings about it, they will come into effect when the card is released into your local language.
