Energyless Flygon/Dusknoir

Hey guys! Here's my list:

16 Pokemon:
4-1-4 Flygon
2-1-2 Dusknoir
2 Munna (BCR)

44 I/S/S:

3 Stadiums:
3 Tropical Beach (To make sure it stays in play)

8 Supporters:
4 Skyla
4 N

33 Items:
4 Rare Candy
2 Tool Scrapper
1 Computer Search
4 Switch
4 Pokemon Catcher
1 Super Rod
4 Crushing Hammer
2 Enhanced Hammer
4 Max Potion
4 Ultra Ball
2 Level Ball
2 Random Receiver

0 Energy

The goal of this deck is to set up a Flygon and a Tropical Beach ASAP and start 'Beaching and 'Slamming away! Dusknoir is too be set up late-game when your opponent has tons of damage and move them around to get KO's. Any help on the list would be appreciated! :D

This is the definition of low energy, my friends.

No, but I thought my Kingdra Mandibuzz Landorus for next set that runs 6 energy was low energy. Geez.

Anyway, seems good. Definetly love Munna BCR as an addition. I was going to make a deck to use it, since it has a really cool ability, but I just couldn't find a way.

The problems I've been having with this deck are many, such as get KO'ed very fast, and Supporter Droughts (I know 8 Supporters seems low, but what else would I play?). But a MAJOR advantage this deck has is having NO EX's!

You definetly need about 12 supporters. You can't be drawing dead the whole game.

As for the problem with getting KO'd, isn't that what munna and Dusknoir are for? You're supposed to snipe small basics all day for your prizes. You just keep keep the big guys out of the active, and get as much damage as you can on the field, then KO little guys.

I can't see now that I am typing, but if you don't have 4 catcher, I recommend 4.

Okay. I'll add 4 Cheren and take out 2 Potion, 1 Max Potion, and 1 Enhanced Hammer. I'll take out a Beach for the Catcher,

-4 cheren juniper is better

+4 juniper much better

Exactly WHY is Juniper better? He will probably have a rather large hand with things like Catcher that he NEEDS in most instances. Cheren is better for a deck like thisb in that regard.

My hand usually gets to be around 9-10 cards a lot of the times. Should I playtest with somebody on PlayTCG? Send me a PM if you want to.

You should playtest this a bit. I can't help, since my ability to use PlayTCG is limited.

I'm sorry. I have just received a challenge from my dad to play Monopoly, so I will have to playtest a bit later.

Okay. So I just tested for a couple games and even with 12 Supporters I didn't get a single Supporter each game.

I run 11 in my Darkrai/Dusknoir, and I have no problem pulling them up. Maybe you've just been unlucky.

Hypno Virbank would increase your damage output by quite a bit.

This would clog up the deck. Anyways, that would prevent Tropical Beach from being on the field at the end of my turn :/

Shuffle better.

Lol.

But no, he's playing online. What I do is actually hit the shuffle button manually like 900 times.

Twelve Supporters is actually thin, but seeing as you have Skyla to search out Tropical Beach, you should actually be fine even with a Supporter drought since you can use it every turn. Does your hand get clogged to the point where you can't draw much from it? Just try to play down your hand when you can. I don't think any straight draw Supporter would be good in this deck since you'll be doing that at the end of your turn, but we don't have much else to with at the moment. If only we still had Twins.

I don't think that Cheren should be in this deck because of the reason posted above me. I think it would be wiser to strengthen lines/counts of other cards than have Cheren in this deck.

I agree with that, but I'm not sure what you'd run instead. Maybe Colress since with Tropical Beach, you could just have a new hand next turn. Or Random Receiver so you could search for Skyla for Tropical Beach. And this idea might be too expensive, but if you want to rely on Tropical Beach, you should consider running three to keep up with the Stadium wars. I would completely understand if that was too much money, though. Maybe Dowsing Machine to get it back?
