3 Shiny Voltorb
4 Unown R (LA)

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums- 25
3 Broken Time Space
2 Fossil Excavator
2 Pokemon Collector
4 Pokemon Communicator
4 Super Scoop Up
4 Poke Drawer +
4 Pokemon Rescue
2 Expert Belt

Energy- 16
16 Fighting Energy

I'm just now getting back into the game after a while. I've been doing some studying up on the current format and more or less have a feel for what the big hitters are and what to look out for. This idea really jumped out at me and I decided to go with it.

Strategy:
The concept is to lock/disrupt your opponent from turn one and consistently control the game with Kabutops and keep the energy flow with Electrode Prime. Pokemon Rescue lets me reuse any pokepowers I burn with Electrode Prime and Unown R with no setback and without having me use up a supporter slot for the turn, and Super Scoop Up saves me from allowing a double prize with expert belt. All other cards are for burn and set up.
This deck is extremely fast even without an SP crutch.

Counters and Strong Points:
Lux Decks
If you noticed, all of my pokemon are capable of burning themselves save for Kabutops which is all I'm going to hit with/have active anyway. So even with Lux lv.X out, they wouldn't be able to use their pokepower to much extent. Not to mention that Kabutops will hit for 140 damage. =]

Spiritomb Lock
My deck relies heavily on trainers, this I know. But also, I can have Kabutops out fairly quickly considering Dome fossil's pokebody, plus BTS and drawing power from Unown R. I would simply use Pokemon collector to find what I need and from there I rely purely on pokepowers, bodies, and BTS. It still has the potential to be a turn one ko even with the trainer lock.

As for other Tier one decks, I just have to be faster than they are. Any suggestions and input would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your time. I hope this deck list peeks interest.

Sounds pretty solid and fun. I would suggest taking two energies out for two rescue. It's always nice knowing you'll get you Pokemon back. Since you'll be behind prize wise early game just take out one rescue for a twins. Always nice to get two cards you need. I think also take out one unknown for a machamp gl for an umbreon counter. Good luck

Hmm... I like your idea about the twins. And if I have them, then there really isn't really a need for Fossil Excavator. I also really like your idea about sticking in a Machamp GL (-1 Energy).

Pokemon- 20
3 Kabutops Majestic Dawn (MD)
3 Kabuto (MD)
3 Dome Fossil
3 Electrode Prime
3 Shiny Voltorb
4 Unown R (LA)
1 Machamp GL

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums- 25
3 Broken Time Space
2 Twins
2 Pokemon Collector
4 Pokemon Communicator
4 Super Scoop Up
4 Poke Drawer +
4 Pokemon Rescue
2 Expert Belt

Energy- 15
15 Fighting Energy

-2 Kabuto (MD)
-1 Electrode Prime
-1 Shiny Voltorb
-1 Pokemon Rescue
-4 Fighting Energy
-4 Unown R

+2 Kabuto AR
+3 Rescue energy
+1-1-1 Ampharos PL
+1-1 Aerodactyl MD
+2 Rare Candy
+1 Cynthias Feelings

Aerdodactyl will help you lock down powers when combined while ampharos, Kabuto AR is the better choice in my opinion and MD just as a tech since you can get 2 stage 2's or ones you can go off turn 2.

The only now is, you have less of a chance of drawing energy wit electrode's pokepower and you get rid of a good drawing engine with the Unown R. Adding rare candy to the mix on top of BTS is too troublesome also and get's rid of the burn factor with trainers. And ampharos will take a whole other turn to situate. I want a turn one ko. With your added mods I can't do that. Unown R also helps with Spiritomb lock.
