Strategy would be start with a plusle/minun and fill up the bench, set up the Typhlosion and LEGEND and then swing for the win.

remember that Pidgeot's effect ends if they switch their active pokemon. I'd say you should use Pichu instead of plusle/minum. they are both as easy to KO as the pichu IMO. you can then run Raichu in there too, but only if you get tails often using iron tail.

you should definitely add sunyshore city gym, even if it's just to help Entei-Raikou Legend. I think it helps more than indigo because X2 weakness is really bad.

add in a fisherman or two if you do decide to use Raichu since he'll discard to attack, and you can't bring back electric energy with typhlosion, and it will also help if you can't take the 10 damage for using typhlosion's poke-power.

you would have to do a 2-2 on the pikachu/raichu.. u can't rare candy from pichu to raichu.
