Error or Misprint

I was going though my cards and putting them in order when I came across this.

The date for the left one is 2004 while the one on the right is 2003.They are both from Sandstorm.Does anybody knows whether this a misprint,error or something else?

One has the e-reader and one doesn't. So I think they were printed differently.

the 04 one could have been printed after Magma/Aqua, as that is when the last of the e-reader junk was printed I believe. It is a misprint I think or a later run of the set.

The one that says 2004 and doesn't have the e-reader came form the Blaziken VS Gardevoir Ex Battle Stadium kit thingamajig. It had cards from Ruby & Sapphire-Dragon but it was amde in 2004 so tehy didn't have teh E-reader thing.
