During some deck testing me and my partner came across a situation andI'm not sure on how the outcome should be
She has articuno (plasma storm) as active with energy and espeon (dark explorers) on bench
I have zapdos (plasma storm) as active and attack with agility
Does her espeon's ability prevent the effect of agility?
Espeon (dark explorers) ability - solar revelation - prevent all effects of your opponents attacks, except damage, done to each of your pokemon that has any energy attached to it.
Zapdos (plasma storm) attack - {L} {C} agility - 30 base damage - flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this pokemon during your opponents next turn.

No, Espeon's ability would not prevent Agility's effect. The effect of Agility is targeting the Zapdos, not the pokemon it's attacking.

Think about it for a moment. Does the effect of Agility that blocks attacks against Zapdos next turn do anything to any of your Pokemon? No, it doesn't; the only part of Agility that would affect you is the 30 damage.

Espeon also doesn't block sniping damage, for example...Zapdos NXD's Random Spark. You are still doing 50 damage with that attack, and Solar Revelation doesn't block damage.

Good rules of thumb to consider.
