Ruling Espeon EX and Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick?

If my opponent has a non-Basic Pokémon brought on the field by Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick on his bench and I use Espeon EX's Miraculous Shine, does that Pokémon stay on the field or does my opponent put it into his or her hand?
For example: I attack with Espeon EX and my opponent has a Gallade on the bench.

Great question, and thanks for posting scans!

In this case, Gallade is considered an unevolved Stage 2 Pokemon - Stage 2 because it's written on the card, and unevolved because it didn't evolve from anything. Since it isn't an "evolved Pokemon" like Miraculous Shine specifies, there would be no effect on Gallade and it would remain in play.
