BW/BW2 EV Berries in the Issue Region

I was told that you can't grow berries in the Isshu Region. I thought, "Oh Well! There's the Pokeshifter!" Then it said I can't transfer Pokemon holding items! Berries can only be obtained via the DW! So, how can I fix EV-Gone-Wrong Pokemon? (Zekky no want bad EV)

That's not true, actually. You can indeed have them hold items.
 
I believe that that was just a rumor. It would just be silly to not be able to transfer over any items. I cannot confirm this though, as a Japanese gen V game can only transfer Pokes over from a Japanese gen IV game(as in, it can't transfer from an American or European SoulSilver, only a Japanese copy).

So would anyone be willing to test this?
 
I think it mentioned in the older corocoro scans about growing berries in the dream world.Maybe it was a rumor.Certainly hope not.

I was gonna say how would you be able to transfer a Light Ball for Pikachu If you transfer it for Black or White? What about the good Held Items like Leftovers, Black Sludge, Choice Scarf, and of course Life Orb?
 
^You just have to get new ones in B/W. No Pokemon can be transferred from DPPtHGSS to B/W while holding items, period.

As for the topic, you can grow berries in the Dream World when it's up as someone mentioned, so I suppose that's the best bet.
