As the title, they seem hard to come by in the uk, would you keep it sealed or open it? I am going to struggle not to! Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, it seemed the most appropriate.

A lot of people like to hold onto things sealed in hopes they'll raise in value in the future. Evolutions seems to be an incredibly popular set, but of course you'd need a working crystal ball to tell if it'll actually be a sound investment or not.

Personally, I could never keep anything sealed! :p

I probably wont be able to resist myself! Im wondering what collection to start on after i have finished evolutions, i have bought a few tins and blister packs and have now ended up with parts of about 6-7 expansions :-D i may wait for the new sun + moon sets.

I don't know if it'd be worth hanging on to. It's really more of a nostalgia set, reprint of actual rare cards. As far as competitively it doesn't seem to have a whole lot to offer so that makes it seem less worthwhile of holding on to. Sun and moon would probably be better just because there could be some game changing rare cards to behold. Imagine having a sealed box of Roaring Skies right now lol

No crystal ball needed IMO

Psa 10 holo charizard from evolutions going for $500 on eBay, not even the full holo error. I can promise this set with its overhype and nostalgia will be a decent investment long term. Charizard sets always do well, I kept 4 boxes of flash fire, and 6ETB of generations, even though that was a special set, and now 4 boxes of evolutions.
