Hey guys,

As a player returning to the game after about 10-12 years away from it, I have noticed a lot of new, well to me at least, things.

One of these are the EX cards.

After buying my first couple of boxes I came across 3 in each. Which got me wondering, just how many EX cards is the norm for a box? Now I know that Pokemon is a TCG and that a booster is designed to be at the very least mostly random.

From the two boxes I have opened I have snagged 2 Full art EX's and 4 of the, I guess I'd call them "Regular" (for lack of a better term) EX's. Is this the way it is normally?

Players in my local area come back with different responses to the same question.

Cheers,

Pope

I've opened one booster box Next Destinies, Dark Explorers and Dragons Exalted and for the first two, it is about 3 though Dragons Exalted gave me 4 and one shiny pokemon, something the first two didn't. So expect 3-4 EX's, 2 normal and 1-2 full art forms per box. You appear to be correct in your estimation of the distribution of EX's.
