Ruling EX power keepers Migtyena dark burst

Can the following Mightyena from EX power keepers dark blast use sidneys stadium to make dark burst a 70 attack and then use 2 special darkness energies to make it a 90 attack?

The darkness energy is the exact same as this but it isn't holo and is from EX Power Keepers:

Yes you can because 50 + 20 from Sidney's and then another + 20 from the Dark Energies. So it results in 50 + 20 + 20 = 90
 
I know math, but anyway, thanks.I just needed to make sure I was allowed to use 3 special attcak boosts at once.Cool!:D
 
No wait, I know about the 4 thing, but the attack only requires 2 darkness energy cards.I technically cant attach more than 2 can I (well I can to the Pokemon, but not to the attack)?
 
Actually, you can do the 110 because the Energies effect applies when the Pokémon attacks, and that doesn't include only the Energy used to do the attack. So you can actually do 110 damage.
 
You may attach as many energies as you wish to any Poke regardless of whether they are need to "pay" for the attack and hence use any of the additional attributes of that energy card. So as stated earlier. Attach 4 Special Dark, you get +40 to your attacks so long as the Pokemon is Dark.
 
Ok then, but I did now you can attach as many energies to a Pokemon as you want, but was just wondering if it would count on the attack.But now that I know, cool!
 
but isn't it now they have change the rules? saying the darkness enegy is now a basic energy card.and the effect of darkness and metal energy is no longer applied? means no +10 damage if u attach darkness and no +10 resistance if u attach metal
