• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

So I am just returning to the TCG (specifically the TCG online). I have built a deck I really like and has proven to be somewhat successful (on expert modified only). Here are the Pokemon, the trainers are pretty standard I think (N, catcher, juniper, hammer, gold potion, ect)

Pokemon:

3-3 Excadrill (DE; dig uppercut)
2 sigilyph (safeguard)
2 mewtwo ex
3 terrikon (NVI; retaliate)

Energy

9x fighting
4x psychic
4x DCE

Trainers
4x catcher
3x hammer
1x gold potion
3x N
3x Bianca
3x skyla
2x super rod
3x switch
2x cherian
2x lvl ball
4x ultra ball


Now there isn't much damage to this deck but a lot of utility. Excadrill does 50 dmg with 2 energy and has a junk hunt or has a 30 dmg snipe. If I am not playing a water deck, I end up using excadrill to recycle the gold potion and/or catchers to spread lots of damage then I sweep with mewtwo. Retaliate is there for the 1h KO to Darkrai (a favorite online). I think my worse meta matchup is Kel ex/blastoise, but sigilyphy and mewtwo make easy work of these two. Sigilyph destroys all ex s but is very squishy. Anyways, any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I think you'll want more search (or at least better search than Great Ball). Maybe a third Level and Ultra Ball. And you don't seem to have the Junipers you mentioned. On top of that, I'd add a fourth N and two Random Receivers. I understand it's on the online version, and some things are hard to get.

there is only one problem with your deck from start and that is energy exhange is not legal

i would say maybe 1 more terrakion and 1 less exadrill because terrakion is a good two energy attacker and if a drillbur gets knocked out it's not going to be helpful
also 1 more catcher and hammer for the two unlimited cards because they are probaly they are 2 very good cards in your deck so incress them to 4and the great balls for and ultra ball and level ball just so you are getting the pokemon you want if you dont have an extra level ball and ultra ball try p com
 
Thanks everyone, I have made some modifications by getting rid of the great balls and adding more ultra balls. I also get rid of the energy exchange and added cherian instead. I haven't gotten time to play seeing as I am away from my Computer for the holidays. Any other suggestions would be awesome!
