Ruling Exp. Share & Focus Sash

If I knock out a Pokémon with Focus Sash and the opponent has a Pokémon with Exp. Share on the Bench, will the energy be switched?

(on PTCGO I attacked a fighting Pokémon with Focus Sash[full HP] for the Knock out because it was poisened. And my opponent was allowed to switch one energy to a benched Pokémon with Exp. Share)

That's a bug in the interaction between Focus Sash and Exp. Share. In PTCGO, the animation for a KO plays when Focus Sash is equipped. The tool is discarded, the damage is adjusted, and the Pokemon remains in play.

The text on Exp. Share clearly says the Pokemon must be KOed via damage from an attack. Dying from poison does not satisfy this condition.

Don't use PTCGO as an official source for rulings.
