Extended Scenes and Music from 'Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire' Sampled on Pokemon Get TV [7/26]

When they showed us the Team Aqua and Magma battle intros they showed the grunts, a silhouette and then the leaders.

Does that mean that there is 2 more people yet to be shown?
The silhouettes look unlike any of those revealed thus far.

Pretty sure those are just Maxie/Archie before their full reveal. 2:49, you see a figure hunching down and reaching out. 2:53, you see Archie changing from a hunched down position.

So, seeing as how Archie and Maxie both have a Megastone in the video (which I hadn't seen properly before, specially the one in Maxie's glasses).. who do you think we are getting? If we go by the original team, would that mean Sharpedo and Camerupt? Sharpedo would be cool to see as a full shark perhaps xD

We can see Megastone of Maxie clearly . It's look like they will reveal Mega Sharpedo/Camerupt in CoroCoro next month .

It's a little hard to hear because of all of the people talking over it, but the music sounds really samey and doesn't feel like much of an improvement over the originals, I'm not very impressed.

I got chills from the boat's music and the cave's music and I was happy, despite like Bolt the Cat said they were all taking over it and showing amazement in typical Japanese way.

Power Ranger Mega Evolution GO! *facepalm* If Ash's pose when readying to throw a Pkball was lame, Mega-Evolution ones don't stand behind!

Each time I see the new artwork for Torchic it seems like having huge and scary claws for such a tiny bird!!

Maxie: "I'll screw you with my intelect and fashionable glasses"
Archie: "Go blind with my Mega blingbling!"
Result: LAME!

Funny how they started showing off their GLORIOUS ANIMATION by showcasing 3 badly-animated flying Beautifly. Hope this is fixed in the final release.

August 12th mark your calendar folks...were half way there!

When going from (practically) 16-bit to 3DS, you're not going to notice nearly as big a difference as 8-bit to GBA/DS. I think ORAS's music is going to fall closer to remastering than remixing/arrangement--making the music closer to how it was originally intended to sound, rather than overhauling things entirely as with Ecruteak in HGSS. I think you see that somewhat in the trainer battle music--I myself can barely hear a difference, but clearly they're not programming things on a GBA anymore. Fortree/Mr. Briney go in a bit of a different direction, opting to play up the grandeur of it all. But I think the cave music does things perfectly--it's essentially the old tune, but there's a good amount of new stuff thrown in.

I dread hearing the DP remakes' music. :X

It was like that in Pokemon XY as well. They tried so hard to make these cool scenese, but it just doesn't work with the art style. Out of battles you honestly have to wonder sometimes if you're playing a DS game from its final years.

It can be the exact same songs with higher quality soundfonts/MIDIs/whatever they use and it's all good. That Sinnoh jazz is the best.

I was afraid that would be the case, but I was hoping it would be a bit more noticeable than it was. But I did listen to it again with headphones on, and it's clear enough that you can tell it definitely isn't the same as the originals, it's just a minor enhancement.

Really? Because I can hear more of a difference in the trainer battle music than Granite Cave. The trainer music sounds pretty different, but I think that's because they're using XY's style. Granite Cave though, it sounds the same as the originals, but more echoey.

Agreed, that's going to be even worse.

Pretty disappointed in the music. It actually sounded a little slower. I swear the GBA battle theme was faster. But it was probably just me since I couldn't hear too well over the constant shouting.
Oh well. At least Mega Sharpedo is practically confirmed. <3 Unless Troll Freak strikes again. </3

It's already been mentioned but it's a bit hard to hear the music with how loud their voices are... and it didn't sound very new. I heard bits of the trainer battle music and it didn't sound too different. But I'm waiting till I hear a better quality before I pass judgement.

Maybe they'll go Mario Kart 7/8 on us and have live instruments. :D

Yeah, totally, same with the Fortree music sample. Though we have heard the title theme without voices already, and that sounded pretty similar, too.

Try listening to the Pokemon Box music. It was pretty effective at subtly changing the music for more powerful hardware.
