Hey Everyone,

I just to give you a short introduction to you about myself, because I am really new to the whole topic of being competitive and so on. So I am 25 years old and just started in April with collecting and also playing active in a league. I read a lot of articles and also visited the pre-release for Steam Siege and just missed top 3 by a tie. But to keep track of this, I want to get your help for my really first deck I am trying to build up and also buying the cards for it. It would mean a lot for me, if you could help me with it.

So here is the list:
Pokémon: 15
  • 3 Talonflame (SS 96)
  • 3 Xerneas (SS81)
  • 2 Xerneas Break (SS82)
  • 3 Guardevoir EX (SS78)
  • 2 M Guardevoir EX (GEN RC31 or the one from Protoshock)
  • 2 Shaymin EX (ROS77
Trainers/Supporter/Stadium: 31
  • 4 Max Elixir (BP102)
  • 3 Greedy Dice (SS102)
  • 3 Evosoda (GEN62)
  • 2 Bursting Balloon (BP97)
  • 2 VS Seeker (RS110)
  • 2 Guardevoir Spirit Link (SS101)
  • 2 Ultraball (RS93)
  • 1 Super Rod (BT149)
  • 1 Special Charge (SS105)
  • 1 Energy Retrieval (AO99)
  • 3 Ninja Boy (SS103)
  • 3 Professor Sycamore (BP107)
  • 2 Hex Maniac (AO75)
  • 2 Fairy Garden (FC100)
Energy: 14
  • 8 Fairy Energy
  • 4 Wonder Energy (PS144)
  • 2 DCE
So this is the list I came up with and I am really looking forward to a good season with it. I know this is not so much meta or anything I read so far, but this is for me a nice set up and I just love the fairy typ.

For the playing style it is easy to tell:

You can already make some damage with Talonflame, if you have it in your starting hand or you can start with Xerneas or Guardevoir EX. All of them can do a lot to the gameplay with a few amount of energy.

If I got Xerneas as my starting Pokémon I would use “Geomancy” to get some Energy from my deck to the waiting Pokémons on my bench. For the M Guardevoir EX I need as much Fairy Energy as possible on the table and this is why I have 12 in total for the maximum of 360 damage :)

I hope it all makes sense to you like it does to me.

Can’t wait for your help :)
