Fakemon Competition #3: Create Phase!

First of all, here is the Fakemon we got from Step Two:

At first I couldn't decide on the colour scheme, but now I quite like the blue. If it was easy to tell, the final form is based on a typical American super hero. However its species inspiration came from the roadrunner bird.

The basic form can not fly just yet, however can jump quite high and glides on air currents quite like gligar, gliscor and scizor.
When it reaches its 2nd evolution it has the full ability to fly. It is primarily physical, specialising in kicking based moves. Its punches, wings and beak can deal quite a lot of damage though!
Basic evo is about 2'10'' tall, while its evolution is 4'8'' (hoping that sounds reasonable?)

When I get time I'll come up with proper images of its design but for now its just rough c:
I can't wait to see more topics like this pop up, they truly are fun and bring me back to me designing days~

Now that Keshi has given us the concept of the design, it's time to add the final touches and add another Fakemon line to the collection! This thread will be used to;

-Submit final art of the Fakemon
-Submit ideas for names
-Submit ideas for dex entries

Guidelines for submissions:

Art-

All I ask is that your art is clear and in colour. Any medium of art is fine. The art must contain only the Fakemon, and no other Pokemon with it.

Names-

Just remember that names of Pokemon are no shorter than 3 letters, and no longer than 10. Your submission for a name must be related to the Fakemon, and you should briefly explain how you created the name (like what it's based on, rhymes with, stuff like that).

Dex entries-

I don't believe there is any specific limit to the length of a Dex entry, but limit your entry to a couple of sentences. The Dex entry must be related to the information that Keshi gave in his/her submission.

The submission period ends on the 3rd of October, and this will be followed by a public vote. Get to it guys!

The Jumping Pokemon
Jumpiax's wings are not fully developed, leaving them to jump around rather than fly. Jumpiax can jump about 35 feet in the air and can glide in the air for several minutes.

The Kicking Pokemon
Soardedo tend to travel in packs of 3, where each assign eachother a different job in the pack. Most Soardedos are very aggressive and will never back down from a fight.

So far, i'm trying to make Soardedo a working OU pokemon by giving specific stats and moves. I'll be posting movesets it can run too. :]

final drawings. there's a difference between a final drawing and a first sketch. Ask Smeargles, they paint thousands of drawings and don't only do sketchs (actually they do bit still). :p
 
The "sketch" in this case is of quite good quality; I think all it needs are shadows and highlights.
BTW, real roadrunners have 2 toes in front and 2 in back.

I suggest someone making a 80x80 pixel sprite, maybe also a 32x32 one.

A good length to shoot for in a dex entry is from 1/2 to 1 line across this page. I take as example the dex entries for Pinsir in Sapphire and LeafGreen.

To Assassin: I don't know of any previous example in which both abilities change upon evolution.

Ability: Limber/Run Away

II. Briskeen
(brisk+keen) brisk = quick, agile, active; keen = enthusiastic, piercing, skillful, admirable

Ability: Limber/Quick Feet
(come on, quick feet is an obvious choice for a roadrunner)

HP: 80 , Atk: 115 , Def: 70 , SpA: 45 , SpD: 80 , Spe: 125
Sum: 515

Moves by leveling:
35 - Hi Jump Kick
40 - Extremespeed
46 - Drill Peck

Egg groups: Ground, Flying.

Egg moves:

Zapdos is the best counter. Rotom is also a good counter.

I'll edit in the TM/HM movepool later.
 
mm, Gyarados? Salamence? There are actually alot that i didn't even notice. i'll list the common ones for you.

I think he means both abilities. Yanmega may gain the Tinted Lens ability, but still keeps Speed Boost.

I have no problem with ability changes of any form, though.
 
I just want to say that I personally like the brown color a LOT more than the american colorway
 
Hmm, I am afraid I will need to stop this competition for now, it's not going as well as I had hoped. There is a very high probability that this will be continued in the future though. Keshi's submission of Flying/Fighting type will be used when this competition is restarted.
