Hey guys, what's your favorite card of all time?

Of all the cards that exist, I'd have to say my favorite is Broken Time-Space from Platinum, mainly because it's incredibly useful in Unlimited, and Machamp/Claydol was my favorite deck to piss people off with at league.

I don't really play the TCG competitively, but that is the best card that exists or ever will exist. The art is just too good for words to describe.

and any Imakuni? cards really!

Many cards have a special place in my heart, but none holds a place more special than Regigigas LV.X. Those were a wonderful 18 months we spent together. I miss your format, my good friend.

Gallade from Secret Wonders. It was in my first competitive deck and I loved it from the very moment I laid my eyes on it. Oh how I yearn to use it again in a reprinted form someday.

I genuinely wanted Imakuni?'s Doduo for the LONGEST time...

I really like the style of holographic cards in E-Card series. They have just the right balance of "sparkle" to make the cards look appealing to me. The Pokemon artwork itself was often diverse, and ranged from simple to almost scary levels of realism. The attacks and Pokemon Powers were often accompanied by chunky paragraphs of text that made the cards look intimidating and interesting. The Crystal cards are just beautiful, and are my favourite kind of "special" rare. Scans don't do them justice, you need to hold one in your hand to truly appreciate their lustre.

My favourite card for looks is Crystal Crobat. It has a perfect balance of everything. The card art is nice, but not overly detailed. The card background's smooth transitions between faint shades of blues, purples and reds looks lovely without being too distracting. The same can be said for the sparkle: It's there, it's pretty, but it doesn't dominate the card (unlike, say, recent EX Pokemon). The text for the attacks and ability is interesting but doesn't overcrowd the card. And, importantly for collectors, it just looks valuable. It oozes rarity. The weird energy requirements and typing are telling you that this is not a typical card.

And of course, I own it. Crystal Crobat was one of the only holographic cards (not just Crystal, holo in general) that I pulled from those damn E-Card sets. These sets are notoriously difficult to complete. So knowing that I own a Crystal Crobat, one of the harder to find cards in the series, makes it even more valuable and hence special in my eyes. : )

At first glance I seriously thought whoever's fist that was was getting ready to punch Imakuni? right in the mouth (which is not really a stretch when you consider his pose)

and as long as we're showing off our favorites...

I am a sucker for cute things (and Latias) <3

Not surprisingly, I also like Glaceon MD #5. I actually like the art on #20 better, but I prefer it as a holo.

I like BTS too, But my favorites include the rushing flames Infernape (Nice art [avatar lol], nice attacks, and nice over all, especially in that format. Too bad Gyarados existed....)
Gengar SF. Even though I flipped constant game winning Fainting spell tails, it was such a great card.
Crobar G: Sorry kids, but this card was fun. My first one I pulled was RH :D
Garchomp C Lv.X- Such a heal troll and an amazing sniper.
Uxie LA- Duh :p
Infernape E4- Snipin them Magikarps ftw.
Gardevoir PL/SW, Gallade SW, Gardy Lv.X- these cards made up one of my favorite decks of all time. Notin much else to say.
Claydol GE- So balanced, so good.
