Both Standard and expanded. can take any advice..as long as it remains a high energy based deck..less trainers.

Nice idea! I do have a few suggestions though. Even though you want a high energy count and a low trainer count I sense pretty big problems with consistency considering the lack of draw support. I fell this deck could be improved by a stronger draw engine. Also the volcarona line seems kind of irrelevant and because of the very high item count I can't see this deck beating any item lock deck (Seismitoad, Giratina/Vileplume, Exeggutor/Vileplume etc.) I believe that this deck should go for more of a Mega Houndoom-EX focus with Camerupt-EX and Entei as techs. Overall I think these changes could be made to improve the deck.

-1 Larvesta
-1 Volcarona
-2 Blacksmith
-1 Ultra Ball
-1 Mega Turbo
-4 Fiery Torch
-3 Acro Bike
-2 Fire Energy

+2 Shaymin-EX
+1 Houndoom-EX
+1 Mega Houndoom-EX
+1 Lysandre
+2 Professor Birch's Observations
+2 Giovanni's Scheme
+1 AZ
+1 Houndoom Spirit Link
+1 Hoopa-EX
+3 Trainer's Mail

Try out these changes on PTCGO and if they work great! Keep in mind this is just my personal opinion to try to keep with your recommendation above. Have a nice day! :)

so the stadiums and items like fiery torch don't count for draw support to you..and why? not good enough? (hope that doesn't sound mean to you, does to me on how i said it, sorry if it does)
Ok why the AZ? the only reason i can think is to dump fire energy in the discard pile and save a pokemon from death.(i almost thought about putting that in) anything else to sub shaymin's, don't have the money or trade for that..hard to get thing.
and does this apply to expanded as well? i can do both formats, though I like expanded better.

First of all it's fine it didn't sound mean at all :) The items do count as draw support to me. I'm simply stating that supporters may be better considering all the items. The deck just gets completely shut down by item lock like vile plume and seismitoad-ex. Also all those item cards that draw require you to have an energy in your hand and that's not very reliable. The AZ is exactly for that purpose and also to be able to get a pokemon out of the active 1 switch really isn't enough especially when playing something with 4 retreat such as Camerupt-EX. You can run a 2-2 line of Octillery instead of Shaymin-EX. You can use it in Expande but for a deck like this I recommend it in Standard. Especially if you keep the current draw engine you have and don't run as many draw supporters.

Hope this helps :)
