Pokemon Trading Card Game: EX Collector's Tins Give Players a Glimpse of the Future!

Three Tins with a Sneak-Peek at the Upcoming Diamond & Pearl Release

Pokemon USA, Inc., a worldwide leader in the trading card game industry, today announced a special Pokemon Trading Card Game gift item, the EX Collector’s Tin, to be released on March 21st. Each tin includes four EX Series booster packs—two from the recent expansion EX Power Keepers and one each from the popular EX Delta Species and EX Dragon Frontiers expansions—as well as one of three exciting, brand-new Diamond & Pearl Pokemon preview cards: Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup.

With three different designs, every 2007 Pokemon TCG: EX Collector’s Tin features a great window design for players to display their favorite card, and each comes with one of three foil Diamond & Pearl Pokemon cards that will give players and collectors a sneak-peek at the next highly anticipated Pokemon TCG expansion.

The Pokemon TCG: EX Collector’s Tins go on sale in stores March 21st, just in time for Easter gift-giving and are each priced at $12.99. Each of the four booster packs inside contains nine randomly inserted game cards.

Wait a minute. I have seen those tins and they don't have those cards. They have ho-oh ex, tyranitar ex and celebi ex. So why do those ones have the d/p starters in them? Or are these tins completely different?

ok , im confused . im pretty sure that the first info i herd was that these tins were going to have one of three exs (tyranitar ex, ho oh ex, or celebi ex ) and one of three dp preview cards . i am also pretty sure that i saw these tins more than once in a completly diffrent box on other websites . what confuses me even more is that the information varies on almost ever single website i have found with info on them. some sites say they have 4 boosters and a ex , others say its 3 boosters and ex , then there is ones that say its the the dp starter , another dp card (holo) and 4 boosters . does any one know for sure , because im really wanting to get one with an ex instead .

I believe that the Tyranitar, Ho-oh, and Celebi are European exclusives since the D/P set won't come out over there until around August. So, for Americans, we're getting the D/P tins with Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup.

i dont know why , but to me these ex tins no longer sound as exciting as when i first herd about them . i am completly Disappointed . getting a stupid starter dosent really sound as good to me as getting an ex. unless this information is fake, i dont think im getting one anymore .

furious why woudn't you get the tins so what if the three basics are in them you still get 2 packs of power keepers and 1 of delta sp. also 1 pack of dragon frontiers that seems like a pretty good combo of packs. if you ask me.

i dont want to get one because the main reason i wanted one in the first place is because im obsesed with getting exs and getting them easy. now that there is no ex im really not that intrested . plus im kind of out of money , i kind of wasted the 13 dolars i was going to use to buy one of those tins on four df booster that i dont regret getting because of the two exs and two rare holos i pulled . i just hope that they surprise us and still put that ex in there along side that starter .
