Strategy
The theory is Weavile early, Flareon late. Discard early, discard often!

The advantage is big hits for little energy. The fear is low-HP and stage 1 Pokemon. Leafeon techs Blastoise/Keldeo very well. Espeon is draw support and can hit Garbodor on the bench.

Toying with dropping the LaserBank, but that enables some OHKOs and helps work around Silver Mirror problems. Also might thin the Egg and Audinos for fear of starting with only one of them. But the 4 Eggs in the discard is the whole reason for Weavile.

I've not gotten to test this much yet, so thoughts and input are appreciated!

RE: Flareon/Weavile

I would suggest Scoop Up Cyclone for your Ace Spec. If your deck has to start with exeggcute, its better to be able to pick it up than hide it on your bench or give off a free prize.

I would suggest changing it to all dark energy, Blend, double colorless, and no plasma. Yes deoxys being able to attack can help, but its power connect ability is better off just being a bangle instead. This way they have to knock out 6 pokemon instead of taking out deoxys for 2. I ran 2 deoxys in my deck before bangles came out to hit for 170 with 5 discards. Also with the loss of Deoxys on your bench, you no longer fear Garbotoxin as much. So Espeon should be taken out as well. Its not that great.

Also consider using Fossil pokemon as discard fodder, for a couple reason. They can put themselves back into the deck, and they are impossible to start with so you dont have to worry about starting with a useless Audino or something.

A few level balls will also help this deck. Granted i get that you can discard pokemon with the ultraballs. But being able to regrab fossil pokemon or find the first exeggcute is so helpful if you have nothing to discard yet.

1 Super Rod can make a huge difference as well. It gives you a nice cushion if you are forced to discard a flareon or weavile early on.

RE: Flareon/Weavile

I hadn't considered using fossils. That's an idea to test; if only Prehistoric Call was back to your hand instead of bottom of the deck.

I'll definitely test the energy distribution; you're right that attacking with Deoxys wouldn't be ideal.

Ok, I dropped the plasma and psychic energy, as well as the Espeon.

In my first batch of testing at our local league night, the deck is struggling with early turn consistency. Out of 4 games, I started with an Egg only in two of them. Played ok the other games (but got rocked by a tier 1 Darkrai deck, but I kind of expected that with no fighting types in mine to tech).

I think I'm going to bump up the N and and Skyla count. Anyone have other ideas on making this play a little faster? I know it's not going to be a world beater, but it's fun to play and I'd like to tune it as much as possible.
