If I use this card, MUST I pick 3 energies and 3 pokemon from my discard pile, or could I choose less? What If I have only, say, 2 pokemon and 1 basic energy in my discard pile. Could I still use this card?

Also, if a pokemon is confused, and then receives 30 damage from being confused, does the special condition wear off or does that pokemon remain confused?

For the first question, you MUST pick 3 energy and 3 pokemon if they are in your discard pile. However, if you have less than that, (ie: only 2 pokemon in the discard) then you may still play the card, but you must take all of them. So if you CAN take 3 pokemon, then you MUST. If you can't, then you take as many as you can.

For the 2nd question, the pokemon remains confused. If your active pokemon is affected by a status condition, it stays that way until either A) The pokemon is returned to the bench (through retreating or something) or B) you play a card that removes the special condition (like Full Heal). or C) the pokemon evolves/devolves.
