I think that a better question might be, if Flygon ex d's attack made you discard energy which would you use?

If it was like the HP delta supply flygon with electric resist that would be nice but, its kinda risky with crystal shard... although not seen often at all sometimes I see it in decks randomly

Both of them has their potential. Even if Flygon ex d has * weakness, its Poke-body and Psychic Pulse is a headache. Salamence ex d, in another way, has resistance to Fighting and Fire.
