Ruling Format Question

No, I'm not a noob asking about whether we can play Jungle cards in tournaments nowadays...

I want a list of all the formats there ever were. Can I also know the set the format ended. Say, for example, for HP-On, you could say it was "HP to MD", because just before LA came out the next format was introduced.

Also, which format were these archetypes from:

Absolutions
Banette
Flaridos
Flytech
Delta
Destiney
Metanite
MSN

?

Thanks in advance!

Before DP it was Hp-ON, then HL(Hidden Legends)-ON, then... I can't think back any futher.

As with those archetypes, I can't help you.

How long did the DX-On format last for? (like, with what set release did the new HP-On format take place?)

Oh, and what was the rule on confusion back then? Could you retreat normally? Did you take 3 damage counters for a field attack?

I'm replicating the meta of DX-On as something of a history project. XD Times were hard without Claydol GE back then... They always did say folks were tougher back then. :p

I believe that DX-on ended with DP, so it was DX-DP for Worlds that year. I recall it ending with DP because Metanite was legal, but Infernape killed Metanite so Metanite was not played as much at Worlds.

Um... what? Did you not play back then? We have the Holon engine, which was like... one of the most broken trainer engines ever. Using a TRAINER to get yourself a SUPPORTER that you can then use. As well as having Holons Casty to draw like crazy with. And then there was Metagross's Power, "Look at the top 4 cards of your deck, pick one, keep it, then bottom deck the other 3." I would say that we were perfectly fine without Claydol back then.

I was just joking. :p Yeah, the Holon Engine had everything... And Holon's Castform drawing 5 cards was brilliant.

Sorry for all the double posting I'm doing and all the annoying questions I'm asking, but with what set did the Hidden Legends-On format end with?

Btw, thanks for specifying the end of the DX-On, format, Kronar.
