Ruling Formation of Pokemon (the last one didnt work)

What is the best formation for the pokemon line as I always tend to use the 1-2-3 as I don't think the 2-1-2 is a dependable line as you only have one "stage one evo" yet you have two "second stage evos" so you mainly have to depend on trainers. So what is the best line?

3-2-3. If you're fast enough, you should have the ability to maximize all your basics (are belong to us), and you using a 3-2-1 line results with you only utilising 1 Basic, and thus wasting 3 cards. If Rare Candy was more easily searched, people may even do 4-0-4 lines. But that's not going to be possible.

3-2-3 and 4-3-4 are reliable. 2-1-2 is a bit wonky but works too. 1-0-1 is only for techs. Certain decks do 3-3-3 due to specific reasons but its pretty rare.

The 2-1-2 formation can work if you know how to setup your trainer line...
In most deck, you will see this formations;
4-3-4
4-2-4
3-2-3
2-1-2
1-0-1
4-4
3-3
2-2
1-1

P.S. If only Rare Candy was a Supporter instead of a normal trainer....
