Yes, and old one. I was wondering, does Muk's Pokemon Power - Toxic Gas affect both Poke-Powers and Poke-Bodies? I was trying to figure that out because I am trying to build an unlimited deck.

Q. Since Muk-EX's "Toxic Gas" says it shuts off all Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies, does that mean that in unlimited play it shuts off Pokémon-Powers (like Raindance)?
A. Yes, "Poké-POWER" and "Poké-BODY" cover all types of "Pokémon Powers, and the intent of Toxic Gas is to prevent all powers. (Jun 2, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Fossil Muk however only mentions Poke-POWERS, whilst Muk Ex mentions Bodies.

Worth looking into, altho I'm afraid I dont know the answer.

I believe it was ruled that Fossil Muk only stops Poke-Powers, since that's what is stated on his card. And this belongs in the TCG Questions, so moving.

Poke-powers and Poke-bodies are a subdivision of Pokemon Powers.

So, if the card stops Pokemon powers, it does stops both, which is the case of the old Muk from Fossil.

-Just me- is correct. In any instance of an old card blocking Pokemon Powers, it stops BOTH Poke-Bodies and Poke-Powers.

It doesn't work both ways, however. Newer cards that stop just Poke-Powers or just Poke-Bodies do NOT stop Pokemon Powers; in order for a new card to block Pokemon Powers, the card must state it stops both Poke-Powers AND Poke-Bodies.
