XY French Territories As Islands You Travel To In XY?

Ok so I just got this idea where overseas places that are a part of France like French Guiana, French Polynesia, and Martinique could be islands we can travel to (maybe post game). I don't know if they would be landlocked, but I loved the islands you could go to post game in Emerald and I think it could work here, too.

Sounds like an interesting idea..

Also, the island was in Leafgreen/Firered.

I'm postive it was LG/FR. The only islands in RSE were Sootopolis city, the victory road, pacidilog town, and the place with the twin gym leaders.

And battle frontier, but regardless, I think that would be a great idea. They would need a separate map though or be much closer than in real life. Maybe one could be the Gen VI battle frontier. Maybe one could be the location of a short storyline on the new Mewtwo form. Maybe one could be home to the professor (Sycamore?) that is said to give you your Kanto starter. Islands in the after game open whole new possibilities.

OMG WHAT IF French Guiana IS one of the islands and since it is right next to Guyana WHERE MEW IS FROM, IT COULD BE THE STARTING LOCATION FOR THE BACKSTORY ON THE NEW MEWTWO FORM.

I didn't even notice that! Suriname is in the middle, but knowing Pokémon and how they have a different world than we do, they could just merge the three into a little mini quest. That would be so cool.

Sometimes I wish I was friends with the masterminds of GF so I could share with them my occasional master ideas.
 
Just to the North of France in the English Channel are two islands called Jersey and Guernsey... They're half English (using the British Pound, speaking English) and half French (Road names and bits like that). Would be pretty cool to go there... I doubt that would happen though. xD
