Friday, 3/7, 11th Movie Trailer Description, Ranger Battonage Website, Magnezone / Lucario Promo Tra

The Japanense promo cards aren't too bad. Lucario isn't as quick as the DP one, but it's still respectable, sacrificing that speed for more power from Smash Kick. Blocking Punch isn't helpful though, needing a Metal which most Lucario decks probably won't use, and gives it defensive capabilities that it does need or have any use for.
Magnezone is quite nice. Mirror Shot can give some nice (if unpredictable) stalling, but Thunder Slash, while needing 4 energies, is just amazing. Get it right, and you will be doing 100 every turn while only discarding 1 Lightning per turn. 100 isn't enough to OHKO most of the main attackers in the metagame, but it will massively weaken them, probably ready for a Mirror Shot. Magnezone will probably see play once it comes out over here in the West, but I think Magmortar will have to die down first.

Yes, one of the main reasons I'm a regular here at PB is your awesome news coverage WPM! Keep it up, it really does bring in people (like me) who don't have a lot of interest in just the TCG.
 
I saw the trailer a while ago, and I must say this movie's looking to be really good. And Zero, IMO, has the best villain design we've seen in a long time! I can't wait.
 
i think the lucario and magnezone will come to america too because i think japan has the same promos as we do, right???
 
the movie looks great do far. gah, i wish i lived in japan. i hope palkia will be in the movie though. like pokebeach said, i think this is continuing where the 10th movie left off. like as to what happened to dialga after he went back into the other dimension. and shaymin was so cute when it sneezed! :D

Shaymin....is....so CUTE!!! I LOVE the way she (Yes, I call Shaymin "she".) sounds! I hope when the movie comes out in the US, I hope they don't replace the Japanese Actor.

Zero actually looks villian-ish. Kind of reminds me of some character I once saw on Yu-Gi-Oh.

The Giratina Speed form and Dialga battle looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

I'm still wondering about something, though.

WHY IS REGIGIGAS IN THE MOVIE!?

It doesn't seem to really have a big role. Yet, they used it for the main Pokemon in the first teaser trailer back in July.

I'm certain Palkia will still be included in the movie. It was in the original trailer and featured on the original poster afterall.
 
i think this could be more info on the movie WPM: Giratina and dialga fight, both in origin form. dialgas origin form i think is the form it took in mystery dungeon 2.

Is it just me, or does that android lady look like Cresselia? Or, at least, she has Cresselia's colors.... Maybe I'm not even looking at the same person... robot. Whatever.

This movie looks amazing! I've only seen the trailer, and already it looks like the best Pokemon movie ever made!

I'm going to have to agree with shaymingiratina8717 on Shaymin. When I first saw it, I was thinking aloud, "Awww... It's so cute!".

I wonder what the Partner Pokémon will be...I think Munchlax and Mime Jr.? Ugh...
 
I think the hidden Pokemon will be Cresselia because she is one of the helpers of Dialga and Palkia. Which means if she is confired could play a big role in the movie. We don't know for sure but this is what I think the Pokemon will be. However if it is Regigigas it may not be as big of a role as Cresselis would be.:)
 
I think i just worked out why shaymin is in the movie:

Shaymin is the "protector" of the alternate World, as in the start of the trailer a "petal" drops onto a lake, creating a portal, meaning shaymin could be leading dialga there to stop Giritina who is Harming its world.

And if Cresselia is not....

Then I've come up with an idea.

Since the 11th movie seems to be connected to the 10th movie, maybe the 11th movie can be connected to the 12th movie. I mean, maybe that Cresselia Girlbot thing has a role in the 11th movie, but her role connects to something bigger in the 12th movie, featuring Cresselia, Heatran, and maybe even Darkrai again (as well as one or two others, maybe). The 11th movie already has four featured legendaries. If Cresselia made five, that would be too much. IMO, anyways.

Just an idea.
 
They've eventually gotta do a movie on Dunsparce. He must have SOME purpose...
