Pokemon Japan has announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, two items that would have been sold at the Pokemon Center store at Worlds have been cancelled.
They are minor items: the “Deck Box Yokohama 2023” for 500 yen and “Double Deck Box Pokemon World Championships 2023” for 1,527 yen. No pictures of the items were ever released. A “Worlds 2023 TCG Deck Box” will still be available for 500 yen for those of you who still want to commemorate Worlds with a deck box.
Contrary to confusion generated by some outlets on social media, the World Championships 2023 Yokohama Deck featuring Pikachu ex has not been cancelled. Nor would it be, since Pokemon would not show it off on stream months in advance without having already manufactured it.
