Furret L.35 – Colorless – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Sentret

[.] Keen Eye: Search your deck for up to 2 cards and put them in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
[C][C] Baton Pass: 40 damage. You may switch Furret with 1 of your Benched Pokemon. If you do, you may move any number of Energy from Furret to the newly switched in Pokemon.

Weakness: Fighting (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

this thing is ridiculously amazing, no energy to search for 2 cards

It is a decent poke to use as a starter (I think its basic can fetch basics or something along those lines, but I may be mixing that up with another sentret), and that 2nd attack is good if you dropped a metal on it and feteched another 2 with its attack, so you can move 2 metals onto a metal poke and have a 3rd one ready to make it a wall. And if that isn't a run-on sentence, I don't know what is. lol. However, the space/resources used to get it up may counter the usefullness of its attack.

That Furret is pretty nice! Now...If Sentret had an attack which evolved it into Furret...Hmmm...

Sentret L.11 – Colorless – HP60
Basic Pokemon

[C] Fumble: Look at the top 2 cards from your deck, choose 1 and put it in your hand. Put the other 1 at the bottom of your deck.
[C] Scratch: 10 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (+10)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Ahh! I can really see Sentret and Furret being good! Get a super fast Sentret and BANG. You can set yourself up pretty nicely...Then you can baton pass for some damage + power up another pokemon...

I myself think Furret will be everywhere, except in T2 decks. Anything requiring setup that isn't Delta will want this one tho.

It actually is a bad card. Nintendo did good of disguising the bad facts. Furret is stage 1, so your search would be a delay. If you were playing with a fast deck, you lose. The attacks are good when you look at it, but if you analyze them carefully, they're of no worth. Even though Keen Eyes do search for two cards, it's still an attack, so your turn ends. And I also doubt that you will be able to use that against a fast deck. Next, Baton Pass is even worse. You'd be giving out the "Powered-up" Pokemon to be damaged, since it's an attack and your turn automatically ends, giving away a free prize or such.

If you look at it like that, it might seem to suck. But I've never been to keen on Baton Pass either (Same reasons you stated). However, you should notice that there isn't much capable of OHKO'ing Furret. As such, it isn't unlikely that it'll get a few turns in to give you vital setup. And having a good setup will beat T2 decks (like Kricketune) on consistancy.

kravenace, you look on the wrong side of the rainbow, It is an ok card. I see what u mean by it is a stage one and horrible against Mario, but it is a good card for searching for what you need such as Lv.xs, Evolutions, Exs, and whatever else you need. It might not be the same asPidgeot,
but it sure as he** is as close as your going to get

Well, it's a good card but the practicalities of playing it aren't great.
It's a stage 1- that will take up space in your deck with sentret. and its second attack is ok but when it's on the bench it's an easy snipe for Lucario.

You are totally right!
Sence he can search any 2 cards, he can search the metal special energy/or the Metagross Ex line with keen eye. and then switch with metagross. 8/10

BUT however MARIO eats him up (And the good stage 2 Exs would be Aggron/Metagross and they both have 2x weakness against Infercatty/MARIO)

The card is a joke. A stage 1 starter. As if Mario didn't have enough fun with that n00by cloud. You have to be lucky enough to get both cards in your hand. Or waste a Celio, Bebe's ect. Mario and Quicitune will have this wiped before Furret does anything. Shame, if Sentret had Ascention, this would be uber. Without it, it's horrid.

So in your opinion, is Delta Drawing also called wasting turns?

Well, of course that is another Idea. That strategy is reinforced by Holon Engine.

But I do think we should end this argument. All of us have different opinions.

it's next to bad :

1) to get it out T2, u have to play 4-4 thats bad way to fill up ur deck.

2) easily TGW'd (galatic's wager that is)

3) keen eyes is an attack! which means if u get it out T2, u will only be able to use the cards T3. Too slow IMO

4) baton pass isnt amazing either. let's say ur deck has furret and flygon ex d. u baton pass and send up ur main attacker? no, thats a bad move. let's say ur opponent is playing kric. u send gon up?! during opponent's turn he get hit by 80. by ur turn u kill 1 tune. then they respond by KOing it. GG there.

I have quite a few feelings about this but I'm not fully convinced that this card will be super popular. This is a nice card for prereleases, but starting it up fully will take two turns. Quicketune would have beaten the living Whopper Jr. out of this ferret. MARIO just beats the guy easily. Unless Furret can get out FAST like Rare Candying it on T1 while going second, you just might have a chance of charging up your Pokemon.
