Furret SW

it's one of the best starters out there
BUT
So easily made useless. Don't count it out though, it's a great card for decks that need a decent set-up to get rolling.

^Lol, you were the one who asked about it just to learn what overrated means?
It means that a card is given more value than it's actually worth. In this context, we talk about gameplay value.
Furret searches for 2 cards, any 2 cards. This is certainly the best setup. However, it's a stage one so the move is nearly impossible to execute T1. This is very bad against T2 decks. So, it's a risk one has to take. Personally, I like starters better when they are Basics.

Because you get the cards at the end of your turn, if your opponent plays wager, it's as if you didn't attack at all. A wasted attack is never good and sadly PLOX and such; anything with claydol for sure play heavy wager.

Personally, I think it's best used with wager and cessation crystal to stop counter attempts and mess them up combined with getting what you need.

At the moment, there is very little energy disruption (just Octillery) so you can safely drop scrambles the following turn until you need them and even scapegoat Furret to activate it.

Nice when it works, resists Banette too.

T1? T2?

Furret isn't overated. Furret is the best starter for Stage 2 decks, like Gardelade, for example. The speed is insane. 0_o.

Turn 1 and Turn 2.
Decks based on T2 are like banette and kricetune. They do massive damage by T2 and that's mainly furret's weakness. It dies when T2 decks come about.

Furret isn't overrated. It's underrrated actually. So little know it's power.

The furret is a interesting pokemon, this pokemon in gardy deck is too abusive, 2 turn in the gardy deck, seach and rare candy and gallade/gardevoir, 3 turn, i have a gardy with 3 energy, this pokemon is a good pokemon in this deck, but vs deck t2 is bad, the absol is the mayor enemy.

yes. stantler i would say is better against t2 decks. you can stall behind them, come back with scramble and youve got a massive advantage. with my kricketune, i just wager the cards furret got and attach pluspower and then the opponent is wide open for attacks. actually, it will easily ko it before it evolves

What is the fuss about T2 Decks? If you go first, you get Furret out T2, and it has 90 HP. Kricketune, Magmorter, and Banette can't shell out 90 damage with out the waste of Plus Powers, which should be used to handle the big guns, like Gallade or Gardevoir. If you see the Magmar or Shuppet, just Bench another Sentret. If Furret gets killed, scramble gets activated, getting a quick KO of what ever KO'd Furret. Or send out that benched Sentret and Evolve to Furret. If your that conserned, just add in a Drake's Stadium so that two Plus Powers will have to be used. You should get in at least one Keen Eye before you dye, which can still tilt the game.

Buffer piece. Yeah, I agree with you on that.

Nobody would put drakes stadium in a deck that uses furret as it's starter because GG is probably the only deck that consistantly utilises furret. So furret will be outguned. That's because most T2 decks '{with the exception of magmortar} I've seen run this.

4 pluspower
3 castaway
2 crystal beach
3 strength charm
3 cessy

Outgun that.

So what your furret gets knocked out. You can still probably get another one. Plus Buffer Piece helps. Plus they have to waste SC/PP to KO a pokemon that isn't needed to be KO'd.
