Pokemon: 17
  • 3 Mewtwo-EX (Red Flash)
  • 3 M Mewtwo EX (Vanishing Strike)
  • 2 Gothita
  • 1 Gothorita
  • 2 Gothitelle
  • 3 Landorus
  • 1 Smeargle
  • 2 Shaymin EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 32
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 1 Professor Birch's Observations
  • 1 Giovanni's Scheme
  • 1 Lysandre
  • 1 Skyla
  • 4 Battle Compressor
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 3 Mega Turbo
  • 1 Rare Candy
  • 1 Super Rod
  • 3 Mewtwo Spirit Link
  • 1 Dimension Valley
  • 1 Shrine of Memories
  • 1 Parallel City
  • 1 Silent Lab
Energy: 11
  • 3 Mystery Energy
  • 3 Psychic Energy
  • 5 Fighting Energy
Strategy:

I always looked at Gothitelle, and wondered how to use its Teleport Room ability to great advantage... Then I saw M Mewtwo X-version, and found some awesome ideas to make it really strong by pairing it with Gothitelle:

-Shrine of Memories can allow it to use Mewtwo Red Flash's move, which would switch damage between itself an the active pokemon - Healing off itself and taking out full-hp attackers!
-Dimension Valley would cut the energy cost a bit.
-Parallel City: It can block opponents like M Rayquaza and Raichu, and could also act as a 1-Hit KO guard against Vespiquen and Camerupt-EX. Plus, It allows me to discard my own Shaymins so they won't be Lysandre bait.
-Silent Lab: Can disrupt Shaymins from working and has many other uses to stall opponent's strategies.

Other things I put in are Skyla to get out what I need, and A single Giovanni's Scheme to up M Mewtwo's damage to 220 - enough to 1-hit most Mega's.

I do feel like ran out of room for more consistency to get Gothitelle out... any feed back is welcome for this idea!

Choose which way this card faces before you play it. This ↑ player can’t have more than 3 Benched Pokemon. (When this card comes into play, this player discards Benched Pokemon until he or she has 3 Pokemon on the Bench.)

Choose which way this card faces before you play it. Any damage done by attacks from this ↓ player’s [G], [R], or [W] Pokemon is reduced by 20 (before applying Weakness and Resistance.)

Could you update the original post with the relevant Breakthrough scans? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay - horrible internet connection needed fixing :/

Scans and card descriptions added!

Just my opinion, but perhaps 4 battle compressors is a bit much? You do have Sycamore and Ultra Ball too. I run a deck that relies around having several metal energies in the discard (and VS seekers), but I only run 1 battle compressor just to speed things up if necessary as often enough you can get what you need into the discard with Ultra Balls. (I play lots of hand shufflers though so that might not apply as much to you)
