Pokemon G/S Remakes?

Well, I'm a proud member of Futaba/2Chan Imageboard and also a big fan of this site! I'm here to spread the news of the possible Pokemon DuskGold and Dawnsilver hitting Japan in summer 2009 (Winter 2009 for US). Well, this image doesn't say much but that its the official remake of Gold and Silver, I'm not entirely sure if its real, but it looks legit. So yeah, I was searching through the imageboard when this popped up. It surprised me so I just had to tell someone! Mostly a good pokemon info forum! Sorry, i'm new, but i just had to tell you people!

well i dunno, i just found it this morning, and its upload date was today, so, i dunno really

i hope its real but i ain't puting my life on it

WPM still also hasn't updated with the info that you found, LV.

Personally, I think that this may just be a fake. I've learned not to get my hopes up about anything.

The art work isn't even Ken Sugimori's, that why I called it a Fake.

1) Water Pokemon Master (WPM) is the creator of Pokebeach. You should have known that...
2) Those look NOTHING like Ken Sugimori's drawings, blurred or not.
3) He is not accusing you...

those are a bit old are they not (they seem to be in the old style of 1st and 2nd gen)?
 
It does look suspicious but I think it is fake. The other members are right thought WPM would have posted it as well as Serebii. These 2 sites are your best sources for Pokemon news. Stay tuned.:)
 
I would love remakes of Gold and Silver, and I do not doubt that they will remake them. It's a great idea.
However, I have seen many boxart fakes like this, so I disagree that it is real.
Read the article on Bulbapedia about Johto remakes.

Well i guess it's possible that the games could be remade next year, but the covers just don't look right, plus platinum is being released soon so surely that's whats being concentrated on, they're not going to start showing box art of a g/s remake when platinum is just coming out, course it would be nice if it is real, we all want it so bad =[

Well, you're either extremely gullible, or a time-wasting rumor spreader. Sorry.
 
This image has been around for ages, its fake.

EDIT: I was loking at teh dont get confusedf with this image, as the first one doesn't show up on my computer. I think nintendo said they weren't making a G?S remake just yet, and besides, platinum is still in the making, they wouldn't work on 2 at once.
