XY Game Characters: Meaning of Names

Hi.
I noticed that the names of the Gym Leaders, Professor Sycamore and the Team Flare scientists are based on different things. What did you notice about the names of different things in this Pokemon Generation? What are your thoughts about the meaning of names in this generation. Feel free to comment

Gym Leaders having so far a fruit/food theme : Viola = Vio ( Water label) , Clemont ( Lemon ) , Grant ( Pomegranate , Japanese Name Zakuro means Pomegrante) , Corina ( maybe from coriander )

Well about Team Flare I think the meaning can go to destroy everything with fire or flare as beuty depands maybe in the game you play :x or y

Sycamore is a type of tree which keeps the trand of all pokemon proffesors

I like that every gym leaders name will be called after a type of fruits
It does fit to the concapt of working hard and in the end of the day take your fruits you worked so hard for (badges)
Just like a farmer
