Garchomp/Altaria/White Kyuurem EX Deck

Hey everyone! First thread post, looking for possible help with my deck. I'm running:

Pokemon
Gible (Sand Attack) x4
Gabite (Dragon Call) x4
Garchomp (Mach Cut) x4

Swablu x2
Altaria x2

White Kyuurem EX (Plasma Storm) x1

Supporters
N x3
Cilan x2
Juniper x2
Cheren x2
Colress x4

Trainers
Escape Rope x3
Level Ball x3
Pokemon Catcher x1
Rocky Helmet x1
Random Receiver x1
Energy Retrieval x1
Max Potion x1
Tool Scrapper x1
Ether x2
Eviolite x1

Energy
Water x5
Fighting x7
Fire x3 (For White Kyuurem EX)

I know that White Kyuurem EX doesn't look like it fits in since it requires Fire Energy, but so far it's been pretty easy to set him up while setting up Garchomps. Either way, any feedback on Pokemon/Supporter/Trainer/Energy is really appreciated :)

EDIT: Added hyperlinks to most of the Pokemon so you could see the cards :)

I suoppose you don't have all T/S you need for a better deck? Like more Catchers and Juniper?

I have more Juniper but unfortunately I only have the 1 catcher :X

Would more Juniper be beneficial? I figured with Garchomp's Dragon Blade (100 Damage for 2 Energy but top 2 cards from Deck) that Juniper might not be as good as Colress or Cheren

With Altaria in play, you won't be using Dragon Blade as much. I highly suggest taking out the White Kyurem EX or at least the Eviolite and Ether since they really aren't necessary. If you really want a big Basic, I'd stick with Rayquaza DRV since it can be powered up with Blend Energy, but most people focus with Emolga as their starter. I would also definitely try to get a hold of some of the staples like Skyla and Rare Candy.

-1 Kyurem EX
-2 Colress
-2 Cilan; With one energy attack costs, you really don't need this.
-2 Ether; Same as above.
-1 Eviolite

+1 Swablu
+1 Altaria
+4 Skyla
+1 Juniper
+1 N

I definitely see the plus of adding Skyla, but I'm not too sure myself about Rare Candy since Gabite's ability is the big card-getter of the deck. I do need to add more Altaia, having only 2 is a little underwhelming.

Without Kyuurem, as you said above I really wouldn't need Cilan/Ether/Eviolite.

Would there be any other additions that could go a long way into helping this setup? So far I've been winning a fair amount with my current setup, but I haven't been to a tournament before (going this Saturday to States) and I want to make sure I'm prepared XD

Anyway, thank you for the input! I've been juggling the Kyuurem idea back and forth for a while XD

Edited the deck a little bit. Took out White Kyurem EX and cards related to him (fire energy, cilan, eviolite). Tested the deck a bit, but I keep running into one problem: with only 4 Garchomp for attackers, late game becomes very risky. If even 1 Gible/Gabite is taken out during setup, it takes away a whole attacker making only 3. Should I add some more Basics like Bouffalant or Emolga/Durant (Plasma Storm)?

I would run Super Rod in this deck so that you can recycle your Garchomp line or some of fhe Altarias. It is also helpful when you have to use Dragonblade and happen to discard a Gible or something. Going back to what you said about Rare Candy, Gabite is good for thinning the deck and setting up at the same time, and you should still keep the line thick and try to keep a Gabite on the Bench, but it is imperative to start attacking by T2. It's bad enough that Darkrai can OHKO Garchomp with Dark Claw and HTL, but it tends to be able to consistently get a T2 Nightspear. You want to have a Garchomp on the field as soon as possible since it is the only thing that can withstand just Nightspear.

Ah, good call. The T2 Damage would be really nice in comparison to my current T3+ damage. I've also been considering Super Rods!

As for the Blend Energy, I was a little weary about it since there are plenty of pokemon who get rid of special energy (like Garchomp), but I might as well replace some of the water energy with them :)

Thanks for the input :D

Don't forget about Crystal Edge Wrynku, The Skyla's will work perfectly to buffer W.Kyurem up!

I would make the energy line 3 Blend WLFM, 1 Water, 2 Fighting, 3 Fire. Also, Crystal Edge sucks because of Tool Scrapper. NEVER play Crystal Edge.

Ah, yes! I knew I forgetting something.

Put in Computer Search (if you have it).

I'm actually running Dowsing Machine now for lack of Pokemon Catchers/Skyla/Max Potion. I ended up scrapping White Kyurem EX in favor of Mora's original post. I'll be switching out 3-4 water energy with blends and switching in some Super Rod to get energy/Pokemon back from my discard since that was a big weakness for me. Also, as per Mora's 2nd post, I'll be adding 1-2 rare candies and taking out 1 gabite and try to focus on T2 Garchomp. (Thanks Mora!)

Do you guys think that 2 rare candies are good enough (for 4-3-4 Gible/Gabite/Garchomp)? Also, would 3 Super Rods be overkill?

Thanks again for all the help!!

Switch out one of the super rods with another rare candy. Give yourself any extra chance to whip out Garchomp's even faster! Hope this helps.

With 4 Skyla, I don't see why not. Honestly though, I haven't played his deck since Skyla came out. It feels like you could play less candy with such a thick line and Skyla. 3 Super Rod might be overkill only because this deck's tight for space, but you don't play Emolga or 4 Catcher, so you certainly have room for it.

Which one should be played in here? Dowsing MCHN or Computer Search?

I think between those two, it's mostly player preference.

2 Super Rods seems a bit too much. 1 would be better, then add a Rare Candy in its place.
