I have found myself wanting to play Garchomp recently for Battle Roads, so I thought I'd throw something together, fine tune it on here, and see how testing goes with it. Obviously the strategy is to set up Garchomp and Altaria with Gabite's Dragon Call and deal some hard, cheap damage. Silver Bangle adds a nice damage boost that threatens OHKO's on those 170 HP EX's with just two Altaria in play. It's pretty self-explanatory.

I feel like landorus would take up precious bench space which might as well be another swablu or gible. You also dropped a level ball for 1 ultra ball. Which is needed to get out the Gibles and swablus. You also might be able to drop a rare candy and add a 4th catcher, another silver bangle, or switch.

Landorus also has a fat retreat cost of 3. Might make it catcher bait for something resistant to ground or has mr mime on the bench. 30 damage isn't that great, mid to late game. Especially if you got garchomp hitting for 60+ with special energy discard. If you have Landorus you might want float stones. It also messes up Garchomps strategy of the opponent needing 6 knock outs to win.

I really don't like Landorus that much either, but I do want something that hits Darkrai (and Thundurus) hard. I could try Retaliate Terrakion or Terrakion EX, but they don't have those one energy attacks that fit so well in this deck. Also, Ultra Ball is perfectly capable of getting Gibles and stuff. Having just one lets me not have to worry about T2 Garbodor; plus, I can search out Landorus, Terrakion, whatever with Skyla. I also almost prefer 3 Catchers in decks that are tight on space. If I'm careful with how I play them, I'll usually have enough to win the game, especially with EX's giving up two prizes. So I'll probably drop Landorus for Terrakion and Rare Candy for Silver Bangle. Thanks.

Another pokemon you might need is a mr mime. As mention darkrai, and other spread damage. With mr mime, they will need a catcher to take out that altaria instead of just spread damage.

I was actually thinking about doing that. I played around with it, and I realized the damage output is actually just fine with Bangle. I'll probably do Terrakion and Exp Shares and maybe HTL just so I can OHKO Kyurem. I don't know if Mach Cut will be enough to stop Blizard Burn from wrecking my field.

I've been goofing with this deck, I play 3-2-3 garchomp, max the bangles, 2 max potions, 3 sawk or 2-1 sawk stunfisk, 2 beach. I seem to have no problem with the T2 garchomp swinging, I play a lot of energy as I duel purpose it for retreat. If you add the beach (yeah yeah save me that talk on expense) the supporter count can be cut some to let you play more mirrors and level/ultra balls. As is, 3 colress over 2-1 colress caitlin. You have a huge bench, might as well exploit it. BTW, my typical bench is 2 garchomp, 2 altaria, 1 sawk/stunfisk one open/setting up. Haven't played a huge number of games though.

I changed the list in the OP to what I've been testing. I can't seem to get the T2 Garchomp at all. I might go back to three candies and swap a Caitlyn for a Skyla. Caitlyn hasn't been doing me any real good.
