I've been having fun playing this Garchomp deck online and figured I'd post it here for feedback. Outside of being a bit clunky at times, which is something I'd expect from a Stage 2 deck that uses a Stage 1 as support, the deck runs pretty well. I do not run Pal Pad, which I'm sure people will suggest I add, but Puzzle of Time has been just fine. I'd like to fit in another Riolu and Lucario if possible.

Like Platinum said, there's no point in including Strong Energy at the moment because our main attacker can't use it. Lusamine is too slow and outclassed by Pal Pad. I've considered one Pal Pad but haven't had any issues getting Cynthia when needed between Lucario and Puzzle of Time. If I start to notice issues I'll consider it.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot it was dragon. Pal Psd works with lucario to search Cynthia

The thing about why I chose Puzzle of Time over Pal Pad though is because you don't even need Lucario on the field to get Cynthia from your discard to your hand. So if your opponent goes after your Lucario (which they should do if they're smart), you still have a way to get Cynthia back. I still might try to squeeze one Pal Pad in though.

I see what ur saying but getting two ptime into ur hand isn't easy without dig and search cards

Lucario allows you to search your deck for any card so getting two Puzzle of Time in hand isn't too difficult once you're set up.
 
Personally I am not a fan of Puzzle of Time in this deck. The sole benefit of it over Pal Pad is that it can also be used to retrieve Double Colorless Energy and Counter Catcher. However, it is much more reliant on having Lucario out than Pal Pad.

Except Puzzle of Time allows you to grab a Cynthia AND something else and add it directly to your hand (DCE, Counter Catcher, whatever you might need). I'm not saying Pal Pad is bad, I just haven't needed it since running Puzzle of Time. I've been able to get Cynthia when needed and can be a bit more aggressive with my my discards cause I have Puzzles.

You'd need Lucario with a Pal Pad because you'll shuffle the Cynthia into your deck with Pal Pad and then what are you doing to get it into your hand? If you have a Lele then no problem, but if you don't then you're not using Cynthia that turn.

Another benefit of PoT is that if you don't have Lucario out but have 2 Puzzles in hand, you can grab a Cynthia.

I'll look at adding one Pal Pad, but I think Puzzles are fantastic in this deck.
 
could you try Lycanroc-GX? ive been using it on my garchomp list and its amazing because it provides a secondary attacker, a good GX attack, and an ability that your going to NEED in order to consistently beat anything.

Yeah, I definitely want to try Lycanroc! I've been seeing it included in more and more Garchomp decks.

Nice list! I like it. I would keep the second Lele, but remove the fourth Choice Band for a Float Stone.
