Discussion Gardevoir post rotation

Just helping my son think about whether to carry on with Gardy post rotation.
U.Necrozma may be a thing so fairy could be ok.

Cards currently in his deck which are rotating, and those also needing removing due to this are:

Talonflame (Super Boost Energy)
Mr. Mime
Gallade
Brigette
N
Super Rod
Parallel City
Sycamore
Skyla
Town Map

So, it loses quite a bit but could be replaced by:
Lillie
Pokemon Fan Club
Nest Ball
Judge
Eevee/Sylveon-GX
Diantha
Tapu Lele (UPR)
Xerneas GX
Max Potion
More Cynthia and Guzma
More Blowers if not playing any Stadiums

And then the new Sightseer and Steven's Resolve.

Any thoughts?
He likes the look of Necrozma or U.Necrozma instead, and prefers OHKO attackers.

Thanks.

Gardy does have a shot against the meta. I think when September kicks off, we are going to see a lot of Malamar and Rayquaza decks and Gardy will
Tear them apart.

Not sure about Zoroark, I think that may be a bit even.

But Beast Box (metal variants) destroy it.

If Rayquaza survives without Max Elixir until Shuckle and Zeraora come along then Gardevoir does make sense for a post-rotation meta, especially since Sylveon now can help you set up without having to worry about N.

I think regular Necrozma/Malamar has a 50-50 chance against it because even without Max Elixir, it will remain a faster deck + Necrozma discards all energy on it for Prismatic Burst + it will have Black Ray-GX and promo Lele.

Ultra Necrozma will probably be heavily favourable for Gardevoir (even now with Max Elixir and the letter the deck can be inconsistent just because of that metal energy) but it is still doable for the Necrozma player.

Buzzwole will be seriously nerfed after rotation so it might just end up being favourable for Garde.

Zoroark variants will probably be 50-50.

Metal Beast Box doesn't automatically destroy Gardevoir, altough it is still unfavourable for Garde, once again, simply because the deck will be faster and Naganadel is a single energy attacker and is a stage 1. Since there will be no N or Parallel City, setting up and maintaining pressure with Beast Box will be somewhat easier than it is now. However, the deck will not have any metal attackers that can consistently OHKO a Gardevoir, so it's not an auto-win just because of the type "advantage". Baby Celesteela can only do it once, baby Dusk Mane needs a CB and both get revenge killed easily by another Gardevoir, Stakataka also gets revenge killed by Garde and Dusk Mane can't really attack more than twice in Beast Box - if you used its GX attack then (again) a Gardevoir will easily revenge kill it and if you used Meteor Tempest you need to draw into a Beast Ring and an energy next turn.

Something else to keep in mind imo is Greninja-GX/promo Koko/Latios which could be made stronger due to the loss of Parallel City and Garbotoxin, and this deck could also be a 50-50 MU for Garde, just because of the heavy damage spread and the fact that Greninja can shuffle itself back into the deck and often deny 2 prize KOs from the Garde player. Greninja does lose Octillery though and Zoropod or even Zoro/Shiftry could become good (again, in the case of Zoropod) so I'm not a 100% sold on this one.

Depending on how many Stakataka are in play, Gardy may not be able to revenge KO one. If all 4 are out, you need either 8 energy between you and Stakataka or 7 and a Choice Band. You’ll need to sink at least 4 energy into one Gardevoir. And if the Beast Box player gets 2 Beast Rings, it’s over
