Most metal lists come with Fury Belts, Muscle Bands, and Float Stones as their tools. Any more creative tools viable for this deck? Assault Vest and the new Klefki come to mind, and Lucky Helmet would be hilarious.

Any other suggestions?
 
Klefki probably isn't the best idea since you can't recycle it easily. Assault Vest could be a decent tech if you don't need the utility of other tools. Other than that, that's pretty much it; you've mentioned the major ones.

The only other cute thing you can do is park Spirit Links on him if you'd otherwise be forced to Sycamore your hand away. Or Bent Spoon if you for some reason wanna use that in your deck.
 
If you aren't attacking with Genesect that turn, Exp. Share could be a fun tool to leave on him for the duration of your opponent's turn.
 
Exp share is an interesting idea. The main problem is that genesect tends to destroy all of its energy while attacking.

Weakness policy could be useful with the new fire tech.
