Strategy
Genesect EX and Virizion EX is one to watch at the moment. One great thing about this deck is the power it brings for less time. Although not as fast as the Deoxys and Thundurus pairing, you can expect a devastating turn two damage and your opponent screaming for help the next turn.

Attacking 9/10

Almost no pokemon can survive when Genesect EX paired with the G-Booster tool, and if you use the G-scope instead, killing bench rodents (Blastoise, Elektrik, Deoxys, Darkrai etc) is a bliss.

Speed 7/10

The problem with this deck is that your turn one usually doesn't start making damages, but the turn two is quite special especially when Virizion use a decent 50 damage Emerald Slash to provide 2 greens for Genesect and could easily be retreated with only one energy if desperate to get Genesect into gear. Thundurus EX is a solid pokemon, you can play it when ever needed, to get energy after G-boostering or even use it's fairly powerful Thunderous Noise. The goal is always to get Virizion first and bench Genesect at turn one.

Defense 9/10

It's a large HP deck, but that's pretty common nowadays, but the great thing is you can play Virbank City without your opponent lasering you back as Virizion helps cover the team from special conditions. Overall an absolute gem.

Availability 6/10

2-1 you will start with the card that you want, even so, keep N-ing and Professor Juniper to keep resources fresh; using Skyla to get colress or g boosters etc is very sufficient.

Overall 8.5/10

My old Deoxys/Thundurus is magnificent, played 226 matches online 203 won on expert mode, but the deck is really boring, really routine. But the GVT EX deck is my favorite as it is superbly fun, you will always end up evil-laughing your opponent when you knock out their bench warmers and knocking out their main pokemon!

I really appreciate opinions and ideas to improve this deck!
