Well i like (love) gengar and with the prime out it gives so much more gengar deck's a chance to shine. But i always get tired of my gengar decks so i haven't played one for some time now. But thats why i made this deck ^^ Also since gyarados is getting more popular (at least here). I play a little counter so that gyarados won't hurt so much (lost zoned karps ^^ ). Any way here is the deck right now.
Pokemon: 22
4-2-3-1 (sf gastly, haunter tr, 2 sf gengar 1 prime, 1 lv X )
1-1 honchkrow SV
2 crobat g
2 spiritomb AR
2 smeargle UD
2 uxie LA
1 azelf LA
1 unown q
T/S/S: 25
2 looker's investigation
3 bebe's search
1 professor oak's new theory
2 seeker
1 palmer's contribution
2 pokemon collector
2 twins
3 miasma valley
2 rare candy
1 luxury ball
1 junk arm
1 vs seeker
2 super scoop up
2 poke turn
Energy: 13
1 dark (basic)
12 psychic (basic)
The strategy is in like any gengar deck to take easy prises with shadow room on pixies or others and to flip heads on fainting spell. Honchkrow SV is there to help vs gyarados and to get other easy targets to my opponent's bench. I can take up a magikarp and the use "Cursed drop" with gengar prime to k.o a magikarp and send it to the lost zone. Honchkrow can also attack if needed. I can also use Gengar prime early game to send useful pokemon from my opponent's hand to the lost zone. And since i won't be getting any prises that way i might get a good chance of using twins.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. (But will not necessary be used)
