Ruling Gengar EX and Pyroar

So, if I have Gengar EX and use it's first attack, does is work on Pyroar FLF? Also, does Muscle Band increase the damage of it's first attack?

Yes, Night Attack will work on Pyroar because Intimidating Mane blocks damage, which is not the same as receiving "damage counters" from an attack.

Muscle Band cannot be used to buff Night Attack's damage because Muscle Band buffs damage. Night Attack does not do direct damage.
