Strategy:
It's a pretty simple strategy. Charge up the Venusaur and start paralyzing your opponent. Virizion is the backup attacker. I haven't tried out the deck yet and don't know how it will work in this meta. It is probably very annoying to play against, but when a Venusaur get's knocked out, it will probably be a bit hard to charge up the next one. That's why i chose Garbodor instead of Vileplume. Vileplume would make it harder for the opponent but also harder for you to use max elixir and mega turbo.

This is just an idea, and it would be nice to get some response.

Well, there's one BIG problem with your deck...

Venusaur is no longer in standard format.

Because of the rotation that occurs at the end of every season, the Venusaur that you'd be using would be classified as 'Expanded.' However, there is a Venusaur reprint coming soon, and for now you can use the Venusaur from Generations. However, I wouldn't recommend you using that particular card as the EX only does 80 damage at max (I'm counting both attacks), and the Mega only does 130. And, with your strategy, you won't be paralyzing anyone, but instead, you'll do 130 damage and +30 to all your opponent's benched Pokémon.

Aside from that, your deck and strategy seems decent to me. I wouldn't rank it at a Teir One deck, but it's close to a 2-3 teir deck. I'd wait until the Evolutions Set comes out before you play this, but that is just my opinion. If you're impatient (like me) and want to play this now, start testing it on the TCGO. Of course, until the reprint, it'd be in expanded, but its all up to you.

Actually, it is in Standard. It's being reprinted in Evolutions with a Spirit Link.
EDIT: Oh wait, whoops. (facepalm) I thought you didn't know that it was being reprinted. That's what I get for not reading the whole post...:( I think he wants advice for the deck for when the card comes out.

If Garb is there mostly for Volcanion, test Zoroark and maybe Silent Lab instead. Otherwise the list looks good. If it works, I'll bet it's really fun. :)

It actually says XY next to Venusaur's name. Not sure if he meant the base set, just pointing it out.
If a card is reprinted, you can use any version of the card in your deck, even if that print's expansion is rotated out. So he can use the XY version (I'm pretty sure).

There is no room for Lysandre or any stadiums in this deck to support your strategy. Mega Ray, mega mewtwo, and volcanion all are bad matchups and play switching cards. Once one mega venusaur goes down, no recovery. My feedback is this is a fun deck, not a competitive one.
