Discussion Giratina Prism Star?

My original intention was to create a deck that would be off meta. Unfortunately, it is now quite clear that Malamar Necrozma is the new Zoroark Lycanroc, everyone's using it. I have pumped too much money into it now to just abandon it, so I decided (begrudgingly) to admit defeat and play Lele. I have been wondering about Giratina Prism Star because of two things. One, I play Ninja Boy, and two, the energy discard seems incredibly helpful for the damage it does in the process. I understand it was literal garbage before Malamar, but now I think it has some potential. Thoughts?

Necrozma Gx is legit 10x better and its not a prism... the only benifit to giratina is it is a 1 prize attacker

Thanks! My intention was to run one just to get energy in the discard and accelerate a little bit. I run Necrozma GX. It's what I built my deck around. I just think that for 160 damage, getting 2 energy in the discard could be quite helpful.

but necrozma gets 3 in discard... for 190....

I mean that Giratina's acceleration could be helpful in combination with the fact that you can just ninja boy into a Necrozma. However, you're right. I will probably keep Giratina PS in deck, but I won't rely on it.

You also have to have Ninja Boy and 2 Psychic in hand, as well as a bench space.
