Ruling Giratina's LV X attack

I have a question for this matter... if Giratina killed pokemon and they are sent to the lost zone are they KNOCKED OUT and u draw a prize card?? If not using the unown G effect it will not be sent to the lost zone but it will be sent to discard pile so it is counted as knocked out?

The pokemon is knocked out, goes to the Lost Zone, and you get to draw a prize card. If Unown G is attached, it gets sent to the discard pile and you draw a prize card.

If you is your opponent then yes

Either way, even if its sent to the lost zone or discard pile by Giratina lvX's attack, you take a prize card because the defending pokemon was knocked out by damage, but is sent to the Lost zone due to the effectof the attack.
