Ruling Glaceon GX vs Glaceon GX

[I like pokemon]

I was just thinking about it and I wanted ask you guys. (This scenario is probably never going to happen but whatever) If you and your opponent have Glaceon GX as the active and your opponent has another GX/EX with an ability, does it's ability still work?

It says all abilities except for Freezing Stare.
So both would be in effect.
