Hey Pokebeach, ready for the State championships? I sure am! Anyways, I was chillen at my league, looking through card after card and stumbled upon a Gliscor Lvx and thought of this idea. AFter much researching, this deck was actually around, and I was willing to try this deck. After alot of testing, this deck I believe is better than my Luxpluff. Here it is!

Pokemon-
Gligar LA x4
Gliscor LA x3
Gliscor LA LVX x1
Spiritomb AR x4
Uxie x2
Lucario GL (Gyardos Matchups) x1
Luxray GL x1
Luxray GL LVX x1
Chatot G (Maximum disruption and stops warp energies) x2
Azelf x1
Unown Q x2
Smeargle x1

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums-
Poketurn x4
Bebe's Search x3
Professor Oak's New Theory x2
Cyrus's Conspiracy x2
Pokemon Communications x3
Energy Gain x1
Expert Belt x2 (If lock is broken)
Cyrus's Initiative (To remove warp energies) x4
Broken Time Space x3
Pokemon Collector x3

Energies-
4 Fighting Energies
2 Rescue Energies
1 Lightning Energies

Please rate and comment about my deck. Usually, I can get T2-T3 Lock up and constantly wall with Spiritomb and disrupt with Chatot G and Initative, also, should I use this deck at states? Or should I use Luxpluff?

Stratgy- To using Luxray to pull out weak or hurt people and keep them in a constant lock with Gliscor X. You want to use Burning Poisen to constantly pick up Gliscor X and have another Gliscor ready to play the LVX down next turn to keep a parlyze lock and wall with spiritomb in between so no warp ponts, switches, poketurns, or super scoop ups happen.

You're going to need to add the deck's strategy, or this thread will be locked.

I don't get why you paired Lux X and Gliscor X. Most people I see use Power Lock, a deck that uses Gliscor's Night Slash to switch out to Glaceon X, to lock powers. Also, if you aren't using this already, use the Gligar that has 60 HP and an attack for no energy.

Luxray is used to pull out people to lock, along with disrupting their top decks, then stop then from getting warp energy. And also, hitting and switching isnt good. The reason? You want to use burning poisen to constantly pick up Gliscor X and have another ready to keep a parlyze lock and wall with spiritomb.

along with disrupting their top decks

I dont get it. I know you love Lux X, but these just don't really work together. Maybe I'm wrong, but Lux X just doesn't work for everything.

Edit: Hey! So that's how you do the quote! :)

Ha! I just noticed that. Anyways, I think Luxray is good since he has free retreat, fits in the mini SP engine in the deck with Chatot G, and since Gliscor is weak to water (Gyarados), it can hit him for pretty high damage with Lucario G.

Glistomb? Unfortunately, you're going to have to make a really consistent list to make the deck work, since without Claydol, Glistomb is slow.

-2 Rescue Energy
-1 Chatot G

+3 Call Energy

Gliscor will almost always try to go back into the hand with Burning Poison, so unless you decide to Night Slash, there is no need for Rescue Energy. You have Azelf/Poke Turn/Cyrus' Initiative, so two Chatot is wasted space. Add in three Call Energy to help improve your starts and setup.

Thanks. But for some odd reason, I ran the deck and it will usually get T2 double Gliscor and Spiritomb with Unown Q and keep the lock on. And true about rescue energy, I'll try to throw in call.
