Pokemon Glitch?

I am having this real problem figuring out if this is a glitch or not. You would have to see my video to see it. It was on shoddybattle.

It would take way too long writing it down manually. It appears it is some thing that seems like glitch that can easily be explained, but I reread the text in the chat and thought about it and it didn't make sense, so if you can help me decide whether it is a glitch or tell me why it happened the way it did. This glitch is really bugging me because I don't want to continue my series up NU sweepers in OU until I find out why it happened. So if you could help me and tell me why you think it did that, then that would help a lot thanks.
