BW/BW2 Global Link Delayed

Due to the earthquake that recently hit Japan, the opening of the international Global Link has been delayed. It was originally supposed to open on March 30. There is currently no known date for the delayed opening of the website.

I'm hoping there's yet ANOTHER Celebi event (I know, it seems like there's been 30 of 'em) so I can get a Zorua. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'm gonna miss out. :-/

It only makes sense that it's delayed. And it'll most likely be quite awhile, so I guess we'll all have to sit tight. I guess it just serves as a reminder that there ARE more important things at stake.

That sucks, I was looking forward to it. I was kind of disappointed when clicking on everything and the GL wasn't open yet.

I'd assume their servers are in Tokyo, so in that case the equipment itself wouldn't have caused a delay (damages, etc.), but I've heard the delay is a result of the energy conservation policy that's in effect in Japan right now. They could keep their Japanese users untouched, but adding the rest of the world would put an insane amount of stress on the computer/server system, though had the international release already occurred I'm not sure what would've happened.

I've been having trouble connecting to the DreamWorld using Japanese Black

Isn't the Global Link supposed to help you access the Dream World by connecting your DS to the Internet with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection? Meaning you need a WEP Key in order to go to the Dream World. Then later transferring EV Berries and DW Pokemon straight from the Internet over to your Nintendo DS on
Black & White.

Im mad that it will be delayed,but I understand what they are suffering,and what they HAVE to do...So,I think I can wait.
