Ruling Golden W

I have a Misty's Psyduck card and in the bottom right corner is a golden W. I heard this is rare and only put on older cards by wizards of the coast.

This means that it was a promotional card in a magazine back when Wizards of the Coast ran Pokemon.

Oh, does that mean it's worth alot?

Not much. It would really depend on the condition. If it was completely mint condition then collectors might pay a couple of dollars for it. They were not really rare, I think they were given out at Pokemon Leagues at the time as well. I am not entirely sure though.

No because the card was given to many to given to many players & thus decreasing the price of the card...
